a review of 鬼玩人2

I saw Evil Dead 2 in the movie theatre when it came out in 1987. Evil Dead 2 starts with a slightly altered recap of what happened in the cult classic original Evil Dead. Then the essence of Evil Dead — gore horror comedy — is sharpened by the development of Bruce Campbell's brilliant, caricatural Ash character. If I had to choose, I prefer the original Evil Dead. The first time I saw part 2, I had some difficulty with the emphasis on slapstick, while the first one had an intriguing blend between absurdity and real creepiness. But the Evil Dead formula and Ash character are immortal, which is again proved by the delicious Ash vs Evil Dead series.
