Ant-Man both amused and bored me. The concept is nice, although done before (The Incredible shrinking man, Honey I shrunk the kids, etcetera), and the CGI is skillfully executed, but the scenario is too shallow and childish to my liking, and the over-sponsoring annoyed me. Ant-Man almost felt like one big commercial, prominently featuring a multitude of consumer products, ranging from Yakult to Xanax. It was nice to see Michael Douglas back in business, always delivering a charismatic performance, just like his dad.
