a review of 林中怪人

When I started watching Creep I had only seen the slasher-like cover photo, so I expected a Friday the 13th no-brainer. What I didn't expect is laughing out loud more than I can remember doing during the comedies I've recently seen. The main character is hilarious, and the plot quite original. I'm not a fan of the personal video recording movie genre, but here it worked very well. Although Creep didn't really succeed in giving me the creeps, it explores an interesting blend between humor and horror, and throughout the movie there's a certain uncomfortable feeling about what might happen next that keeps it interesting.
