a review of 疯狂的麦克斯4：狂暴之路

What a head-spinning ride. When I saw this I had only seen fragments of the original Mad Max movies with Mel Gibson, so this was the first complete Mad Max experience for me. George Miller has created an impressively creative post-apocalyptic world, where steampunk meets dieselpunk, and women are not the usual helpless victims of male macho violence. Mad Max: Fury Road felt like being in the middle of an exhilarating computer game. The lack of story depth and character depth is compensated by the almost non-stop explosive action sequences.
