One of the better Stephen King book movies. Back in 1989 I saw it in a local movie theater as a youngster with my mum, who was a fellow horror film fan. The hidden secret upstairs still gives me chills when I think of it. "RACHEEEELLLL!" 😱 Elliot Goldenthal's soundtrack is very effective. I bought it on CD, not long after the film's release. The compositions were clearly influenced by the soundtrack of the first Amityville Horror film.
