It took me a while to get into Rental Family. The acting style was a bit too farcical to my liking, I thought the timing of the dialogues was a bit rushed, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that Brendan Fraser was an American actor playing an American actor. But as the film progressed, I think the actors got more accustomed to each other, and there were some touchy moments. All in all, a watchable feel-good flick.
