a review of 星河战队

Being a big Paul Verhoeven fan, I saw Starship Troopers in a movie theater when it was released in 1997. In 2025 I decided to rewatch it again, for the first time in many years. I still really like it, and, as is the case with other Verhoeven films, what was once considered to be caricatural satire has now become reality: xenophobia has cultivated violence-glorifying fascism, but in Starship Troopers it’s justified.
