Companion (2025)

I quite liked Companion. I read in a Letterboxd review that the less you know about the film, the better, so I went in without knowing anything about the plot. The narrative was pleasantly old-fashioned, like a 1980s film. So was the duration. Companion felt like a mix between M3gan (2022) and Air Doll (2009), which I both also liked a lot. The soundtrack was also pretty good, both the selection of songs and the score by Hrishikesh Hirway. Last but not least, Sophie Thatcher is a sight for sore eyes. 😍
