Poor Things (2023)

Visually, I have not seen a work of cinematic art this grandiose since Kubrick's Barry Lyndon. The decors, wardrobes and overall cinematography are a true sight for sore eyes. The story is quite intriguing too. I'd call it a dark fairy-tale version of Barbie. A similar feminist message, but wrapped in semi-nihilistic absurdism with some typical dark Lanthimos humor. My favorite Lanthimos so far, very original.
