a review of 七囚徒

7 Prisoners is an impressively realistic story about how dire circumstances can force you to change your morals in order to survive. I really liked how nothing was black and white in this film. Even the oppressive criminal turned out to have a sympathetic side. There were no Hollywood-esque caricatural bad guys, only realistic characters and situations. The natural, credible performances added to the impression.
