a review of 老幸运

Loved this. A worthy farewell to Eighties cult hero Harry Dean Stanton, complete with a comical role by David Lynch. A beautiful, moody, slow-burning portrait of old age, when you've got no more fucks to give, which must be liberating. When Lucky started to sing at the birthday party with his fragile old voice, I had to swallow a lump in my throat the size of the Titanic, having been the caregiver of my old dad for years.
