a review of 幻影英雄

The only previous time I saw Last Action Hero was in a theater when it was released in 1993, so when I started re-watching it thirty years later I remembered almost nothing of the film, except that I liked it at the time. And again, Last Action Hero didn't disappoint. It's a fun satire upon 1980s action movies, packed with over-the-top action, featuring a relatively young and fit Arnie, and larded with winks to well-known films and actors. Last Action Hero made me laugh out loud multiple times, and pleasantly brought me back to my childhood in the 1980s, enjoying invincible macho action heroes.
