a review of 绅士们

Glad to see the old school Ritchie back after some lesser films, such as The Man from UNCLE and Rock 'n' Rolla, which didn't resonate with me. I do love Ritchie's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and the Sherlock Holmes series. The Gentlemen is Ritchie at his best: a sharply cut, witty scenario with entertaining, caricatural, impeccably styled gangsters trying to outsmart each other. I enjoyed it.
