Some info re NeoDB Articles crossposted to Mastodon
I'm still learning NeoDB features & interaction/federation, seeing what happens when I try things like crossposting an article.
Re a NeoDB article (NeoDB > Feed > Compose > New Article) crossposted to Mastodon
On Mastodon, you can see:
- Title
- Featured image
- Summary
- Link to article on NeoDB
- Hashtags
You cannot see:
- the article body (inc. text & any images in body)
- any explicit indication that more content exists, e.g. "Read more"/"See rest of article".
Hashtags:
- Hashtags in Article title, summary or body are NOT clickable on Mastodon.
- Hashtags entered in the Tags field of the article ARE clickable on Mastodon.
