a review of 心火：写给火山夫妇的安魂曲

I thought the angle of this as a love letter to the Kraffts as filmmakers was very sweet and personal from Herzog. And how he let much of the imagery speak for itself, giving it ample time to unfold. It reminded me of how I like to make ambient music where the audience sits with something for awhile; and I found both the Kraffts work, and Herzog's treatment of it, inspiring.
