a review of 超级巨星卡朋特

i had just seen the Be Kind Rewind video about this biopic (highly recommend!) i still didn't feel it prepared me for the heavily degraded copy i then immediately found and watched online. while i would love to see a better quality version of this, i still will be thinking about it for a long time. the voice acting and framing and everything is so good that i kept forgetting i was watching dolls and it felt very sensitively done and i am crying now. i wish i had seen this back when i was still in a heavily feminist art program
