As far as made-for-tv sequels go, I think I prefer When A Stranger Calls Back. But it does have

• Julie Kavner short circuiting and turning on every appliance in the house
• I was genuinely creeped out by the two men noticing Megan on the train platform without her husband and grabbing her by the shoulders to be reprogrammed
• At least the women aren't dead because it involves drugs this time, and they get their revenge, and for some reason, are overdubbed with hissing cat sounds while they do it
• Escape for our protag AND her spunky friend though I'm still rather sus of her cop husband
