Krull - Review
The effects were the best money could buy (except for the magic fire) and the sets were pretty spectacular. The story felt too much like being railroaded along one narrow path leading to where the girl was waiting to be rescued in her tower, which plays out just as foretold. The main character's enemies become friends and then allies and then bodycount which seems kind of unfair. The score I found more bombastic than I liked, but I'm not part of the target audience for these kind of films. I mean, it wasn't a poorly executed spectacle, but I would accept a bunch more amateurism if it came with some real heart.
