The Gorgon - Review
They got the talent into this production somehow, both Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, so it couldn't have been a stinker, right? Well it did have its baffling moments and point where it dragged slightly, but by the end with the climactic longsword vs. halberd fight I don't think a lot of the audience was really unhappy. I especially liked whoever cooked up the Gorgon's wig with wiggly fake snakes when it proved impractical to use live ones. The ending is super abrupt by any standard, but better than dragging things on too long.
