Snowbeast - Review
I do not ski so the scenes of people slaloming down the slopes didn't get my pulse going, and there wasn't anything much else in this film that would do so either. I know it's bad form to trot out the monster too early in the genre, but I think everyone can agree that they went too far in the opposite direction giving the title character maybe twenty seconds on screen at the very end. And the human drama was forgettable. Still, the snowy mountains of Colorado had a certain majesty, and the story somehow managed not to be actively offensive when it comes to 40+ year old social values, so I'm not going to give it a rock bottom rating here.
