Scream Blacula Scream - Review
This was at least as good as the original, with the title character's ability to command the screen one of its main selling points. You probably don't really have to have watched the original Blacula or the many Dracula movies to get something out of ths one. I wasn't expecting the local constabulary being used as punching bags at the end but it was a good way of demonstrating the power of the undead, which immediately meets its own match up against the power of voodoo (of a sort). I liked the mood and the seriousness it had, with only a couple comical scenes lending a campy sense.
