After the death of former Brazilian president Juscelino Kubitschek in a car accident in August 1976, a journalist decides to investigate the case. The death of another former president, João Goulart, in December of the same year, heightens her suspicions of a conspiracy.

Na verdade, quase não existe mais Estado, pois quem manda de fato são as corporações e as poucas famílias abastadas que são favorecidas por leis, políticas e práticas de concentração de renda, enquanto a maior parte da população vive na miséria.
