Series 4 was the final ever season of Monty Python's Flying Circus. It aired solely in 1974 and was shorted to 6 episodes as opposed to 13 due to the departure of John Cleese, who felt he had done enough without repeating. It premiered with The Golden Age of Ballooning and ended with Party Political Broadcast. For the season, the title was shortened to simply Monty Python.
