As Aventuras de Sherlock Holmes ("The Return of Sherlock Holmes" Silver Blaze) (1988)

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson investigate the disappearance of a champion racehorse, Silver Blaze. The horse disappeared in the middle of the night from its stables and with a major race on the horizon its owner, Colonel Ross, is desperate to get his prize possession back. There had been some strange comings and goings the night the horse disappeared including a race tout trying to get inside information on the upcoming race. When the horse's trainer, John Straker, is found dead in a field, this also becomes a murder investigation with the local police less than pleased at Homes' involvement. Written by garykmcd
