Series 3 ran from 1972 to 1973, and its first episode was Whicker's World and its last episode was Grandstand. What made it different from the other seasons was how it started with The Nude Organist playing the organ, then cut to The BBC Continuity Announcer saying "and now for something completely different", then the "It's" Man saying his catchphrase "it's..." and the opening intro playing.
