It was a great honour for me to come to the concert hall to listen to the concert of the Ensemble Dmew - "Chinese Music to World" Series. I was exposed to lots of new playing techniques and broadened my horizon of contemporary music. Meanwhile, it's my first time to meet with those friends of Dmew at offline✌🏼.

Just saw this sad news, in memory of Prof. Du Ya-xiong 🕯️
Mr. Du Ya-xiong was an outstanding musicologist in China. He researched and organised Chinese ethnic music theory and ethnic music, filling in many academic gaps. In addition, he also participated in the translation of foreign language monographs such as Twentieth-Century Harmony, and promoted the Chineseisation of the “Kodály Method”. He has left many valuable achievements for the music field.
