I was exposed to lots of new playing techniques and broadened my horizon of contemporary music. <p>Just saw this sad news, in memory of Prof. Du Ya-xiong 🕯️<br>Mr. Du Ya-xiong was an outstanding musicologist in China. He researched and organised Chinese ethnic music theory and ethnic music, filling in many academic gaps. In addition, he also participated in the translation of foreign language monographs such as Twentieth-Century Harmony, and promoted the Chineseisation of the “Kodály Method”.
