上周,我们发起了一次征集,试图探讨当一对夫妻在老年时离婚,他们和子女会经历什么。我们收到了近200份回复——网络上,关于老年离婚的讨论更多是鼓励和佩服的声音,「离开一个不合适的伴侣,什么时候都不算晚」。但实际上,身处其中的人所面对的远比想象中复杂。
在近200份征集中,我们发现,由母亲一方明确提出离婚的,是父亲一方的两倍。父权制社会结构下,女性在婚姻里承受着更多的损耗和挣扎,当为人父母的责任结束,往往也是母亲更迫切地想要逃脱,开启新人生。无法回避的事实是,在新的人生开启时,父母都已不再年轻,而子女也在糟糕的家庭关系中被围困了太久。一些伤害不可逆地落在每个人的头上,尤其是孩子。哪怕他们已经三四十岁,也经历了自己的婚姻和亲密关系,但那些阴影和伤害可能终身都无法抹除。更现实的问题是,新生活的重建也并不都如想象中的轻松,还有更多细碎的问题。比如更高的养老成本。比如面对父母某方陷入潦倒孤独的生活,子女也会承担起更多。
