Just upgrade a VM of mine running #FreeBSD 14.3 to 15.0 RELEASE, all went well in probably 20 minutes. Super fast, dead simple, and not frightening at all thanks to #ZFS BE backups. It felt so easy that I am even a bit bored.

Scrolling the base64-encoded string fast enough to be near-blur is trippy!

In general #ZFS's space efficiency is better than traditional RAIDs, as long as recordsize/zvolsize is efficient on the array width.

The read performance, on the otherhand, is way worse.
