at some point I'm going to have to figure out how to thread the needle between Youtube having a bunch of useful content on it, and #Youtube being a highly toxic cesspool run by bad people doing bad things which promotes bad behavior by sheer virtue of how it's implemented.
lately I'm starting to lean more toward the idea that I may need to drop all my subscriptions, stop watching altogether, and approach it like I approach Reddit when I need it for research - thru a front end only.
