Yerba Buena Lighthouse

The Yerba Buena Lighthouse was built and completed in 1875. The light sits on the south end of the Island and warns boats and ships away from the rocky island on foggy days and nights.
The light is still in operation today although automated now. The keepers house now is kept by a Coast Guard Admiral.
The light tower is short when compared to others at only 25 ft. tall.
