Wistman's Woods, on Dartmoor, Devon, are allegedly haunted by hellhounds. 'Wistman' is a dialect word for the Devil, with 'wist' meaning 'eerie' or 'uncanny'. The woods and their legends are said to have inspired the Sherlock Holmes mystery 'The Hound of the Baskervilles'. Eine Zeitlang habe ich mit einer Gruppe von Menschen in Hamburg Straßenaktivismus für Tiere gemacht. Das waren bis 2020 "meine Leute". Alle verschieden, alle irgendwie weird und begrüßt wurde immer mit kreuz und quer Umarmungen für alle, die wollten.

Durch Corona und die Apathie der Vorbeigehenden bin ich da jetzt leider raus.

So langsam stellt sich für mich dieser Ort als "meine online Leute" heraus.

Und ich habe nicht die Worte dafür, wie dankbar mich das macht.
