NBC News has now obtained the audio of #Trump praising Gov. #Walz for his handling of protests of the death of George Floyd.
In the audio, Trump told a group of governors that Walz "dominated" and was an "excellent guy."
"I know Gov. Walz is on the phone, and we spoke, and I fully agree with the way he handled it the last couple of days."
"I was very happy with the last couple of days, Tim."

More than 1,000 veterans and military family members have signed an open letter in support of Tim #Walz, saying they're "appalled" at #Trump and #JDVance's "politically motivated attacks" accusing him of lying about his decades of military service.
