Rated Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord 5/10

For a show named after him, it's a little weird how Maul isn't the main focus. He doesn't really do anything either, and fails to achieve his goals. Again. I get that him being outmatched is part of the point, but it's implied that he has had/will have a powerful crime syndicate in many shows, but we never get to see that. The point of the show seems to be for us to learn and connect with the characters, so they can do something more with them in season two, but I don't think they succeeded. Also, the Jedi totally ruined the Lawson's lives, resulting in the death of the father, and that fact is never addressed. The Lawson's mention on multiple occasions that it's their fault that they're in this situation. It feels like the Jedi manipulated them.
