Cypher System (low crunch, genre-agnostic, cinematic, easy to GM) is getting a v2. Version 1 is 12 years old.
Things to note about v2:
- Mostly backwards compatible with v1.
- Addresses the biggest complaints about the system. For example, in v2 you take "wounds" instead of direct stat pool reduction.
- The Cypher team does not use AI at all.
- Crowdfunding campaign includes a wealth of setting and campaign books for cheap.

Hey my #TTRPG fediverse folks, my daughter is having some friends over on Sunday to do a one-shot adventure and I'm looking for the best template I can use on short notice. Free is good but I'm willing to pay for something I can print out and understand in the next 48 hours or so, especially if there's some good sample character sheets they can use to save time on prep.

With each roll, the Toddler gains one of the following spells for free:
