There are two different personality types at 7 in the morning
Having senior pets in my life means lots of nap time
One paw on me, one paw on the table (that has food that she wants). Mila is a super food-motivated cat (and probably begs more than Cookie, which is an accomplishment)
Mila is 17.. 18? No idea, we got her as a senior.
She is the most food motivated cat in my life.
She found the right family for her obsession
Mila is 17 this year. She hasn’t slowed down on cuteness or food obsession.

Mila is turning 18 and has severe arthritis. She can’t sleep on our heads upstairs in the bed anymore (ramps don’t help, due to the layout of our apartment). A few nights a week I pull out a mattress and sleep with her downstairs. And when I don’t.. she starts screaming at 6am until I come down and get sat on. I love her so much
My tortie loves to tell me what she feels. Other people owned by torties know what’s up
My cat likes to go into the bathroom. Simply because she’s not allowed there. When she makes it there, she just stands and stares, like ‘there’s nothing here’. Yep, I toldchu!
She will do it every time anyway.

Mila, after being literally stuck to me the whole night as I slept, is now coming to sit on me after breakfast.
I am a human couch for her. Doing it right

She’s turning 18 soon! She still loves to pop out from nowhere and play. On days when we give her Solensia, a jab for her arthritis, she feels so good that she runs around the house screaming and playing. She’s very weird. I love her so much
My cat is deeply suspicious that I left her for a few days, yet again, but a warm body is ‘kneaded’, so I’ll do I guess
I said a few times today that I want to be more like Mila. If I’m unhappy with something, just yell. Doesn’t matter if anyone is around to hear it.
She was told to ‘go sit in her bed quietly’ (after screaming nonstop for snacks).
I put the new soft blanket next to her and she hasn’t wanted to leave the couch
