This little free lesson in fluid dynamics, etched on the beach sand.
#TextureTuesday

A view straight down at beige and tan colored beach sand. There is a slight depression in the center, which is lightly shaded with shadows.
There are faint lines all across the surface of the sand where water has previously flowed over it, gentle sweeping curves of texture. Those lines become more pronounced in the divot, and curve in a different way at the end of it, fanning out in shorter curves.

It almost gives the shape of the depression a winglike structure.

The sun peaked out several times today, but never for long. Whenever it came out, I quick! took a photo of whatever was in front of me.

These are some selected snapshots of a single [endless] variation of my generative De/Frag V2 piece from 2021, an intentional attempt at creatively breaking the traditional aesthetic of #Voronoi diagrams and revealing the inner workings of the Jump Flood algorithm and combined with randomly perturbed distance functions...
