Taylor Swift has fulsomely endorsed Kamala Harris on Instagram, describing her as "a steady-handed, gifted leader," making clear that she plans to vote for her in the forthcoming U.S. election, and signing off as a Childless Cat Lady. "I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate Tim Walz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF and a woman's right to her own body for decades," she continued, ending her post with a reminder to followers that they should register to vote.
