Last one for #SuperbOwl Sunday. Owls (and other Arctic Predators, avian and mammal) use rises and hummocks to scan for prey, using the same spots year after year. Their waste and remains of prey fertilize the spot and the plants grow taller there than the surrounding tundra. Here a juvenile Snowy peers at me from such a spot. #Nunavut #Arctic #WildlifePhotography #Birding

I am happy to see many this year carrying on the tradition of posting their #SuperbOwl photos. I'll be sharing a few this #SuperbOwlSunday as always, and lets start with this gang of Snowy Owls I photographed in 2012. They look like they are about to get up to no good.

And now for a truly #SuperbOwl. I believe that this is a Pharaoh eagle-owl. It's from a privately-run zoo, le Zoo des Reptiles chez Aziz, in El Atteuf, Algeria.
I'm one of those Asians who don't follow #Superbowl because I don't understand what it is about and the format and the objective and the appeal.It's the same with #Eurovision. 😁 But at least Eurovision is a bit easier, it's a singing competition showcasing the best of EU, correct?
