My favorite spot on Clear Creek Trail to catch <a href="/tags/fall/" rel="tag">#fall</a> foliage ('23, '24, '25). In the distance, near where the trail disappears, there are several people walking along the trail. The trail is covered in leaves and is in shadow highlighted here and there by sunlight passing through the canopy above it. The trail is bounded on either side by dense tall slender trees and undergrowth. There is a mix of shadow and light in the trees and most of the foliage is gold or yellow with patches of green and rust. The upper branches and leaves of a tall golden maple in the left frame are brightly highlighted by sunlight that has just topped the tall trees in the right frame.
