Heads up, self-pub authors here as well: Amazon is lowering the royalty rates of paperbacks and hardcovers next month. You'll also have to check your books so that the royalty doesn't drop to 0. Price hikes ahead.

Über die Serie:
Vor Tausenden von Jahren flohen die Ahnen aus der ersten Welt, denn diese war vergiftet von Müll, Krieg und Hass. Die Reise durch den Raum gelang, das Leben, das sie vorausgesandt hatten, hatte den Planeten in Besitz genommen – doch sie fanden nicht das Paradies vor, das sie sich erhofft hatten. Die Natur wandte sich gegen sie, zwang sie, sich in fünf große Städte zurückzuziehen, geschützt von starken Mauern.
Eine dieser Städte ist Or. Am Rande eines großen Gebirgszuges gelegen, lebt Or vom Eisen, das man mit den anderen Städten handelt. Große Karawanen transportieren die Güter zwischen den Städten hin und her.
Hier in Or wachsen die beiden Helden der Serie auf: Loris, Sohn des Eisenunternehmers Yusef und der angesehenen Ärztin und Stadträtin Mona, und Mikail, Bauernsohn und glücklich in Loris' Schwester Lia verliebt. Beste Freunde seit der Schulzeit, können sie sich blind aufeinander verlassen. Alles könnte so schön sein … wäre da nicht Mikails Geheimnis, das er nicht einmal Loris und der geliebten Lia offenbaren kann. Doch es kommt der Tag, an dem er sich entscheiden muss: Sein Geheimnis – oder das Leben unzähliger Menschen.
