Okay, apparently I didn't bookmark the response, so it's lost in a sea of mentions, but... this 💯 this.

Typically now, when I write a post that I think might attract a wider audience than my usual Fedi friends, I've taken to preempting all the standard misinterpretations or reply guy responses I expect might come up. Then I often categorize the new ones that inevitably pop into my mentions and make a follow-up post covering any I see repeatedly. Still I get messages from folks that obviously haven't read the replies (or even my full original post) before jumping in to `well actually` me. I used to reply to these criticisms in good faith—often to the point of absurdity—and sometimes I still do, but I've largely started just linking back to previous times I've rebutted their arguments or blocking them because (much like the video said) their arguments aren't in good faith, and there's more of them then there are of me.
