Life and Death lay asleep in a the grass, the way they lay slightly resembling the yin-yang symbol. The tools of their trades are scattered around them.

Life is a woman with black hair, in a white robe. Behind her are the paint brush and palette she paints the universe with. She's rather short and has rosy cheeks.

Death is a skeleton in a black robe, which appears to be continually disintegrating at the hem line. Behind him lay his scythe and scroll of names.

Between Life and Death is the hourglass that serves as the source of time for the entire universe, an item that's most commonly carried by Death, but which is part of the work of both of them.

The artwork is cartoonish, with some bushes and a tree that has one red piece of fruit dangling from it. The scene is looked upon by the sun, which frowns at everything.

(Right) The background is an image of some green bacteria with the following quote over the top:

"I think I'll call it Ted."

"Ted? You want to name micro-organism Ted? Are you serious?"

"Yes, Ted."

"Alright, I just thought Bob would fit better."

Chapter 1:
The first thing I noticed here was how much this first chapter reminds
me of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. You have a really similar
style and I'm not complaining at all!
I also really appreciated how you used dashes instead of commas, most
people choose to be boring.
I loved the personification and the attention to detail, the way you write
things really makes me feel as if | am there myself.

Final Impression:
I was really hooked on reading this story and youdefinitely did not disappoint! I love your books so, so much and Ihonestly couldn't find much to nitpick at. I hoped this helped at least a tiny bit <3

My overall impression of "The Last Philosopher" was not what I had expected it to be. As previously mentioned, Fantasy is not my go-to genre. So, going into this story, I was not entirely sure what to expect. Was this story going to be as painfully slow as what "The Hobbit" was? Or was this one of those rare times where I actually found myself enjoying a story of the Fantasy genre? I even enjoyed looking at the pictures that were added to each chapter.

"The Last Philosopher" is a story I would recommend to other readers on here to go read and share with their friends, relatives, frenemies, or anyone that could use a good read. Even if you are like me and have a specific genre you are drawn to, I would recommend you give "The Last Philosopher" a try. I found myself to be progressively more interested as the chapters continued. East really does do well with descriptions of chapters without there being much dialogue included.

The Last Philosopher, an epic fantasy has mastered all of the essentials of the genre. The worldbuilding is incredible. And might I say I was very excited to see maps included in the chapters. Our world is important as it shapes not only the plot but the characters as well. I get the sense that in this first installment we are getting the tip of the massive iceberg behind the world of Huom.

Something that you did incredibly well with was your characterization. Your characterization in this story was absolutely incredible. You showed us stellar characterization through actions and the inner thoughts of the characters themselves.

Overall, this was a refreshing unique take on fantasy! A very engaging read. The pacing is a little slow but the pay-off and reward is so worth it in the end. And the plot has so much potential going forward. There is so much clever wit in this story as well which | thoroughly enjoyed!

Nothing like some good old cynicism and humor!
