The last time a Russian jet entered the sovereign airspace of a NATO country this is what happened... this was a 17 second violation (after multiple warnings by Turkish forces to the Russian jet to change course)

Turkey didn't put up with the intrusion, shot the jet down, and Russia has never tried since. (one of the two Russian pilots in the jet, and other Russian military personnel died due to events after the shoot-down)
Today Russia violated Estonian airspace with not 1 but 3 aircraft. No word yet whether the jets were warned by Estonian or NATO forces. 12 minutes is a very very long time for another country’s aircraft to be over the territory of an unfriendly country.
Putin is very clearly testing NATO now. NATO needs to shoot these planes down and call Russia's bluff.
