10% into #Reading "Indo-European Language and Culture: An Introduction" and really enjoying it. BUT I assumed the exercises would have answers! 😱 In the one below, the reader is asked if any of these languages are not related to the others. I was chuffed to identify 1, Hawaiian (I think) , by the similarities to Māori. But I'd love to know what all the languages ARE. I suspect there may be Greek, Albanian and Romany in the list, but would love to KNOW 😭 #linguistics #bookstodon @bookstodon
