In August, #Austin Police Department violently arrested two pro-Palestine activists at the city's annual #Pride march, and I investigated why and how it happened.

Hi! I'm Liz, a #trans woman who has recently entered her 40's. I've been out and open since October, 2021, and at this point feel like a #queer elder.

I'm a Sr. (Software) Engineering Manager with almost 20 years of experience in software development. I also have a few years in there as a Senior Product Manager, but my passion definitely lies on the engineering side of things.

I've been involved in Olympic #fencing for almost 30 years in some capacity, and for the last several I have been an armorer at collegiate, (US) national, and international events.

I am here on Mastodon after deciding to leave anything Meta behind, and realizing that BlueSky isn't the safe haven that it purports to be. I hope all of the Threads and Twitter users that ended up there don't get burned, but I'm not taking my chances with that.

Today I published my latest book, "Black Seeds: Wild Anarchy Growing in the Wasteland". It has three sections: "On Nothing", which discusses nihilism, 'A Queer Apocalypse in the Wasteland" which discusses anarchist, queer, trans and sex issues in the context of patriarchy and capitalism, and "alchemical anarchy" which is my version of what we need to do to survive. Its not a short book but you only have to read the bits that you like.
