This is my fave #bench in Esquimalt Gorge Park. I've enjoyed many books & eaten several lunches, at this spot. It's tucked away, off the main loop around the Japanese gardens & it's a really nice shady resting space. I adore all the ferns & trees that hug this rest stop.

A winding stone path leads deeper into a tranquil, overgrown garden. Lush green ferns and broad-leafed plants line the path, creating a sense of enclosure. Further along the path, a simple wooden bench sits invitingly beneath the dappled sunlight filtering through the dense canopy of mature trees. The scene evokes feelings of peace and serenity.
