Whitefish Bay is located on the eastern side of Lake Superior, with the international boundary between Michigan and Ontario, Canada, cutting across the bay. I've visited this beach countless times, and its allure never fades. It's incredibly easy to become lost in dreams while gazing out across the water.

Two for the price of one today! A sunny day for a sculpture in New York and a rainy day for a sculpture in Budapest. The New York photo was taken by me on Friday and the Budapest photo was also taken on Friday by my husband, and edited by me. It's very sweet that he's looking for public art to take photos for me 😊

A color photo taken in front of the Hudson Yards building of a giant sized pink and purple metallic teddy bear. It is leaning back on its arms with its feet out so you can see the bottom of the foot. The bottom of the foot has the words "love matters" scratched into it in white. And the rest of the bear is covered with different words that have been scratched into it. I can see the words dream, desire and many others. The bear's eyes and nose are a bright yellow and behind it is a great deal of trees and shrubbery. Right above the trees can be seen a few floors of the Vessel, a sculpture that looks a bit like a beehive with different sets of stairs for people to walk up and see the view. It was a bright sunny day.

Taken on the same day in Budapest where it was very rainy is a photo of a sculpture of a big red apple that has had a bite taken out of it. It is sitting on a gray brick pedestal and has a green leaf sticking out of the stem. It's sitting in the middle of a shopping district. A store or two can be seen in the background with a few people and their umbrellas. Behind the Apple are three table umbrellas but no one is sitting outside because of the rain. The top of the picture shows three large green leaves with raindrops on them. The foreground is mainly gray wet cement and a walkway with some green shrubbery towards the bottom right.

This photograph was taken the same night as the dark orange silhouette I shared earlier. I haven’t modified the colors or hues in either image—both display the natural, distinct tones present at the time. There was roughly a 45-minute interval between the two shots, highlighting the beautiful contrast in the evening light.

A crane.
Also me, walking around, trying to find the best angle to photograph the crane.

A photo, taken on a rainy day from the corner of Van Ness and Cesar Chavez Street, looking up at a massive construction crane above a new, not yet complete apartment complex.

Actually, this is a blend of three different photos taken at different angles and positions from across the street. One of the photos is dark and the others fade away somewhat translucently, like ghosts. The blending of multiple pictures from different angles makes the crane look like it is rotating. The apartment block under construction, on the lower edge of the picture, stutters... jiittering shakily it appears multiple times.

Monochrome. Slightly sepia toned.

Most of the image is of stems and leaves but at the top a thin strip of rice ears is visible, and at the base, scrubby fallen stems drift like snow at the edges of the frame.
