The three volcanoes that rumble in the heart of New Zealand's North Island, seen from the Craters of the Moon thermal walkway at Wairakei (~38°38'36.6"S 176°04'05.9"E).
L-R: Ruapehu ("noisy pit", 2797m), Ngauruhoe (2291m), and Tongariro (1968m). The Tongariro Crossing runs between the latter pair. Ngauruhoe is technically a vent of, and the tallest point, of Tongariro. All three are active.
