Here's your field report from #NoKings in tiny King City, Oregon (10 mi. SW of Portland, pop. 5,000, 76% white, median age 62, 43.7% of households someone 65 or older living alone): at least 200 (EDIT: REPORTEDLY 600!) people lined up on both sides of 99W. Lots of traffic.
Over 1/3 of passing vehicles honked or gave thumbs up (I counted: 51 out of 150 cars sampled in 3 batches)! And only one middle finger in that 150.
And yes, we had frogs and unicorns.
If this many people are anti-fascist here, I feel pretty good about our chances of winning.

Nothing could stop me from showing up today — not my skin flare ups, or anxiety, or the congestion of the public transit system today. Knew I needed to make it and use my voice to fight against ICE and Donald Trump with the rest of Chicago. It was an amazing turnout, estimated over 100,000 people. #NoKings
Did anybody see any counter protesters at all today? I went to two events and saw exactly one, some idiot driving a truck with Trump flags on it. Zero counter protesters on foot.
MAGA is only going to get quieter, until and unless they become more violent.
We're only going to get louder and stronger in our successful peaceful movement.
