welcome to Sonic Shakedown 75 ~ a pure psych and noise edition this month, topped off with an oldie from Purple Heart Parade and a dreamy cover by Moon Duo of Black Sabbath's Planet Caravan (a little tribute to Ozzy)

Hawkwind were in town early in August, touring for their new album 'There Is No Space For Us'. Something must have crept into the old subconcious, before realising what was happening, the space theme had emerged over the next week or so ~ and cracking songs they all are too, I hope you enjoy SS75

couldn't resist the picture of our cover stars this month ~ The Liverbirds were a Liverpudlian 'Merseybeat' band in the 1960s, signed to Star Club Records they followed The Beatles as resident band at the Star Club in Hamburg
